From post office to popular hotel
The Home Hotel Post is located in two buildings, each with its own story to tell of Oskarshamns past.
The beautiful main building dates back to 1905 and used to be the citys post office before it became a hotel in 1985.
It underwent extensive renovation in 2025.
The interior of the main building dates back to the early 1900s.
It has high ceilings and several of the rooms have stunning ceramic fireplaces.
The hotel truly offers a reminder of the citys past as a shipbuilding community.
The former city hotel is located nearby, and it was renovated in 2025.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.
